If you’re thinking about doing everything on your own…spoiler alert: it doesn’t work!
When starting a business, it’s tempting to try to handle everything yourself. However, the reality is that success depends on surrounding yourself with a team you can trust. Delegating responsibilities will not only lighten your load and allow you to grow your business as your client base expands, but it will also bring fresh perspectives and new strengths to your project. Find people who share your vision and values, and build the business of your dreams together.

It is easy to fall into the trap of underestimating your worth, especially when you are just beginning. It is crucial to constantly remind yourself that you are building a business, and your time and skills come at a price. Don’t be afraid to place a value on your work; doing so is not only fair to you, but it also sets a standard of professionalism from the start and helps your clients feel confident that they are investing in the right place.

3. Get organized across the board: with your clients, your team, your finances, etc.
Organization will be your business's best friend when it comes to sustainability. It means keeping clear, organized track of your relationships with clients and your team and, above all, your finances. This makes it much easier to make informed decisions, avoid errors, and project confidence from the inside out. You don’t need special software to get started; you can build your own tracking template in Excel to log income and expenses and launch your project mindfully.

4. Yes, there will be tedious procedures involved in formalizing your business.
Incorporating your company, meeting tax obligations, and handling other bureaucratic tasks may seem tedious or even boring, but they are essential for establishing the professional image you want for your business. Although these steps can be inconvenient and appear complex, the prospect of tackling them is often more daunting than the actual process. Facing them head-on will provide the legal and financial security you need to grow; don't let fear hold you back, as every step along this new path is an investment in your future. We highly recommend finding a trusted lawyer and accountant; they will make the path much clearer and help you with everything you need to get started.

5. You are your own biggest fan
The entrepreneurial journey is full of challenges and uncertainties, but it is essential to maintain confidence in yourself and your vision. When you believe wholeheartedly in your ability to overcome any obstacle and in the importance of your dream, that very belief drives you to keep going, even when things get tough. Not knowing how you will do it, yet knowing that you will succeed, that is the mindset that will keep you on the right path toward your goal.

6. Start with what you have but start NOW.
If you wait until everything is perfectly ready to launch your business, you’ll be waiting forever (this applies to everything, really). You might think you need a fully mapped-out plan to get started, but the truth is that no plan can prepare you for the unexpected twists and turns you’ll inevitably face along the way, changes that ultimately work out for the best. For us, it worked to start with just one client; that initial leap allowed us to refine our services and set goals based on actual results and lessons learned for the future.
To get started, we do recommend having a logo and an Instagram profile or website featuring content that establishes your project's credibility. If you’re looking to give it visual and conceptual shape,or take the next step toward formalizing it. Get in touch! We’d be thrilled to be part of this new chapter for you.
